The name was inspired by the love of 'ajo' the word for garlic in Spanish because.. well because I cook a lot. With LOTs of garlic.

Like most people in a 9-5 world, I tend to avoid spending hours meal prepping.

Although I love garlic, I don't always have time to peel and slice as many as my heart desires. Plus it always leaves my hand with that raw garlic smell. Not sexy!

And like most people, I've tried to look for the perfect tool, the perfect chopper. But I was shocked at the poorly designed ones out there.

Big appliances aren't the answer either as living a city life means my kitchen is tiny. I needed something compact yet powerful.
